What
is Bigfoot?
The
truth
is, at
the present I don't know. That is part of the reason I launched this
website and am still investigating this topic.
There's a lot of
information out there, and at the present, a lot of that information is
questionable or doesn't seem to come together to form a clear map
indicating what Bigfoot might be. The study of cryptozoology
and
paranormal phenomena
are interesting because answers to questions like this are not that
easy to solve. I assure you that I will post the answer to
this
question right here on this page when I am able to do so.
What we can say is that many people have made claims that they are
seeing, hearing, and smelling some type of creature in wooded
and
remote areas around the world. Whatever this creature might
be,
it has eluded being clearly photographed, filmed or captured to date.
So what do we know about Bigfoot? Bigfoot is a large, bipedal
creature that is regularly spotted in certain geographic areas. He is
covered in hair, and smells strongly, like a skunk. When he is
spotted, he almost never behaves in an aggressive manner and quickly
moves on his way upon determining hat he was spotted.
Some people claim that Bigfoot has a physical presence while others
claim that he is a spiritual being.The spiritual version of Bigfoot
will be interesting to study since currently available forensics
probably won't provide useful evidence to prove or disprove this
theory.
As I do my research, everyone I talk to tells me something
different regarding their understanding about what Bigfoot is. In
future updates to this page, I will try to list some of
the explanations I have researched or been told about. I guess it's
possible that there could be separate and distinct types of Bigfoot.
I'll look into that further.
Are Bigfoot, Skinwalkers, Sasquatch, Yeti and the Skunk Ape all
different creatures or slightly different descriptions of same thing?
It is also largely possible that the
creature doesn't exist at all, but is a fabrication of the minds of
those that claim to see it. There is a a lot of variety in
the
reports of Bigfoot sightings. The varying descriptions provided by the
people I talk to, may be a result of their "remembering differently" or
making up their experiences entirely in an effort to achieve their 15
minutes of fame. It is hard to say for sure.
What I would like to do is bring more
science to the discussion to finally establish it's
existence or debunk it as myth once and for all. For now, I will have
to suggest that you research the available evidence here on the
web site, do some of your
own investigation out there, record that information, share information
with
others, and decide for yourself. |
